HOW WE CAN HELP
WHAT WE DO
Embodied Dynamics is a Holistic Assessment Based Therapy designed to treat the root cause of your pain and mobility issues, improve movement capability and function, as well as promote long-term health and wellness.
What is Embodied Dynamics and who is it for?
OUR APPROACH
Using a simple and effective 5-step approach, we quickly assess and treat the underlying causes for fast, lasting results.
Step 1: Your story matters. We listen closely to understand your pain or concerns, considering the full spectrum of your well-being, lifestyle, environment, and needs.
Step 2: We observe and assess your body’s movement and structure holistically, using a unique protocol to uncover the root cause within interconnected body systems.
Step 3: We explain your assessment results clearly—no confusing jargon! Together, we create a personalized treatment plan with achievable goals, so you understand the issue and feel empowered to succeed.
Step 4: We use hands-on osteopathy to address pain and tension at their root, focusing on the dynamic balance between muscles, joints, fascia, nerves, organs, and fluid flow, as these systems often work together to impact how you feel.
Step 5: We use kinesiology to prescribe progressive exercises that stabilize joints, reinforce pain-free movement, and rebuild resilience for long-term health and wellness.
OUR METHODS
We integrate manual osteopathy with kinesiology to ensure your treatment empowers you with progress today and resilience for the future.
MANUAL OSTEOPATHY
Manual osteopathy is a holistic, hands-on approach that treats the body as an integrated system.
Manual osteopathy alleviates pain, enhances mobility, and promotes overall wellness by restoring balance across body systems and reinforcing the body’s natural healing processes.
By focusing on the relationships among muscles, joints, connective tissues, internal organs, and the nervous and vascular systems, this therapy targets root causes rather than just symptoms.
This balanced, whole-body approach also empowers resilience, optimizing both immediate relief and long-term health.
WHO CAN BENEFIT FROM OSTEOPATHY?
Osteopathic Practitioners provide care for people of all ages, from infants to seniors, whether for pain relief, addressing dysfunction, or taking preventive steps to enhance health. Osteopathy can assist with a variety of concerns, including:
-
Neck and back pain
-
Headaches
-
Sleep or energy concerns
-
Sports and car accident injuries
-
Repetitive strain issues
-
Joint, muscle, digestive, respiratory, or menstrual problems
-
Pre and post-natal support
-
Jaw dysfunction
OSTEOPATHIC METHODS
1.
OSTEOARTICULATION
Osteoparticulation is precise, gentle joint mobilizations to restore alignment, and ease tension of the sacrum, spine, neck, and head to achieve structural balance, with additional focus on the ribs, shoulders, and limbs as needed. This hands-on approach supports pain relief and natural balance across the musculoskeletal system.
2.
MYOFASCIAL REMODELING
The fascial system is a continuous web of connective tissue linking the body’s organs, muscles, and bones as a unified structure. Manual Osteopathic Therapy identifies and addresses fascial restrictions to restore body balance and function. By releasing these restrictions, the body’s natural healing ability is enhanced, leading to better overall health and well-being.
3.
CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Osteopathic manipulation of cranial bones, the brain, and spinal cord offers advanced treatment validated by research for its effectiveness. Like spinal joints, cranial structures can become imbalanced or restricted, leading to symptoms like neck pain, headaches, TMJ (jaw) dysfunction, and conditions from injuries such as concussion. Cranial osteopathy can address various issues, including digestive disorders, migraines, sleep disturbances, mood issues, asthma, sinus infections, Ménière's disease, ear problems, and ADHD, promoting overall balance and symptom relief.
4.
VISCERAL THERAPY
Visceral therapy focuses on evaluating and treating the body's organ structures. Dysfunction in one organ can influence other areas of the body, sometimes in surprising ways. For example, addressing liver issues can help relieve symptoms in seemingly unrelated areas, like a frozen shoulder.
5.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC THERAPY
Manual Lymphatic Therapy is a gentle approach designed to facilitate optimal lymph flow. Proper lymph flow is fundamental for healing, immune function, and homeostasis. People with chronic inflammation, decreased immune function, chronic diseases, or persistent pain can benefit from improved lymphatic circulation. Individuals recovering from injury or surgery can also benefit from manual lymphatic therapy for accelerated healing.
KINESIOLOGY
Kinesiology is the science of human movement applied to assess and improve physical function. Through highly customized movement training and exercises, kinesiology treatments help restore strength, coordination, range of motion, and overall fitness.
This approach benefits individuals recovering from injuries, managing chronic pain, or seeking enhanced athletic performance by promoting balanced, efficient movement and sustainable strength.
REHAB TO RESILIENCE
PROGRAM
At Embodied Dynamics, we combine kinesiology with manual osteopathy to ensure your treatment fosters both immediate progress and lasting resilience.
We use a series of objective and qualitative assessments to identify any imbalance and weak links in the body precisely. Based on the evaluation, we implement an interconnected process that includes 3 steps.
A.
RESTORING YOUR FOUNDATION
Restoring foundations is a process that helps improve the fundamental mobility and stability of the body. It is a combination of hands-on treatment, and detailed mobility training. The unique feature of this hands-on therapy is that you are an active participant in your own therapy, allowing you to explore and own your range of motion.
B.
ACTIVE ADAPTATION
Active adaptation is a process that will empower you to become your own solution. Our goal is to help seamlessly integrate active rehabilitation exercise into your daily routine. We provide guidance on how to incorporate occupational or daily movements into exercise routines, closing the gap between clinical sessions and daily life.
C.
BUILDING SUSTAINABLE RESILIENCE
Long term resiliency simply means that your body will become adaptable to handling mistakes or errors in posture or movement without impacting your progress or feeling pain. In essence, your body will become stronger and more agile. To create long term resiliency, we use exercise science and strength training, to challenge your movement, and your body, in a balanced way. We incorporate the use of fitness equipment, and free weights to accomplish this.
