Daehan Kim

M.Sc., B.Sc. Kinesiology

Daehan is a founder of Embodied Dynamics. He is a Clinical Kinesiologist, a Researcher, and a Strength Conditioning Coach who is passionate about teaching and learning the evolving knowledge in the field of Kinesiology, Rehabilitation Sciences, and Sports Conditioning. He has worked with various clinics, fitness facilities, and sports teams in Canada and the US. He completed the Master's of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan after finishing the Bachelor's degree of Science in Kinesiology at Arizona State University.

Daehan helps individuals at all physical levels (from people with various chronic diseases and illnesses to the highest level athletes)  explore and adapt the movement behavior that is ideal for their unique goals and needs. Then he helps them continuously expand their movement capabilities through an individualized and systemized training program. To ensure that their clinical and athletic needs are met, he also collaborates with other healthcare practitioners and sports training coaches

Physical fitness and sports skill development have always been Daehan's passion. In addition to serving as a Clinical Kinesiologist, he is also a Kettle Bell Instructor. He holds a black belt in Taekwondo and a green belt in Capoeira. He continuously explores and trains other martial arts such as Kick Boxing and Wing Chun. He also loves to play any sports that require coordination, agility, and intelligence. He can easily lose track of time when he plays any racquet sports such as tennis, squash, racquetball, and golf.

Daehan's empathetic personality and natural tendency to attend to details have led him to become passionate about helping people restore movement after injuries and continuously expand their movement capabilities while dealing with ongoing conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Fibromyalgia, or Guillain-Barré syndrome. He uses his educational background in biomechanics and neuroscience to understand the current parameters of their safe movement and their preferred learning style. In addition, due to his ongoing passion for athleticism, fitness, and motor skill development, he focuses on finding and maximizing the possibilities in people rather than dwelling on the current limitations. For this reason, he always strives to bridge the gap among injury rehabilitation, strength conditioning, and sports-specific training.
