Through individualized exercise prescriptions relevant to her clients’ goals, Cheryl aims to enhance movement quality and competence through evidence-based interventions. She firmly believes in the importance of working collaboratively with her clients so that they feel empowered to take ownership of their health. Her goal is for her clients to leave each session with new knowledge and a better understanding of themselves, such that they can continually see progress and exceed even their own expectations.
Cheryl utilizes her educational background in clinical biomechanics and exercise psychology and adopts a client-centred approach to create an environment that is goal-oriented yet adaptable, challenging yet safe, and motivating yet supportive to maximize positive outcomes. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and an FRC® Mobility Specialist (FRCms).
Cheryl's active lifestyle has facilitated a passion for all things health and well-being related. In her spare time, you can find Cheryl exploring different hiking trails with her dog, riding her road bike, playing tennis, or doing burpees at a CrossFit gym.
